A Personal Message

Welcome.

If you are reading this, you may be facing one of the hardest moments of your financial life. Before we ever meet, I want to introduce myself and share with you why I do this work.

A video introduction from Brent.

Dear Potential Client,

Hello!

I'm Attorney Brent Diefenderfer. I'm a native of Central Pennsylvania and have been an attorney since 2004 and a bankruptcy attorney for over 16 years. In that time, I've represented hundreds of people just like you in the various communities throughout Central Pennsylvania — such as York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Harrisburg, Carlisle, and Gettysburg — successfully and compassionately resolve their debt-related problems.

First, I want to share with you why I'm passionate about practicing bankruptcy law.

For me, this is how I make a real difference in people's lives. When clients come to me feeling hopeless and trapped by oppressive debt obligations, I see it as an opportunity to provide them with a lifeline — and a chance for a better future. Bankruptcy and "forgetting your debts" isn't just about eliminating debt. It's about empowering individuals to break free from oppressive financial obligations, saving homes from foreclosure, and allowing people to start anew with hope and stability.

Are you tired of living under the constant burden of overwhelming debt? Do you dream about getting a fresh start — free from the shackles of financial stress? Are you ready to forget your debt and embark on a more secure financial future?

Before starting a civil law practice in 2009, I served as an Officer and Judge Advocate (JAG) Attorney in the U.S. Army. That military experience shaped who I am as an attorney and influenced the approach that I take to practicing law — habits such as paying attention to details, taking care of others, showing empathy, and problem-solving through an informed strategy. When you choose me as your legal advocate, you benefit from my unique perspective and my commitment to excellence.

I believe in empowering my clients with knowledge — which is why I've written a comprehensive collection of articles on this website about various aspects of bankruptcy law.

If you're ready to take control of your financial future, then I'm here to help you. I'll work with you to explore your options, navigate the bankruptcy process, and secure your fresh financial start.
